North America's premier electronic music venue — a 30,000-square-foot warehouse purpose-built for the biggest names in dance music.
Echostage opened in 2012 in Washington D.C.'s Northeast warehouse district, founded by Club Glow with a mission rare in the United States: to create a venue built around electronic music, not retrofitted from a concert hall or repurposed from a generic nightclub. From day one it was designed for sound, scale and sightlines — a single, clear room with a massive stage and an open dancefloor.
The result has been a steady run as one of the world's most-respected club venues, repeatedly placed in DJ Mag's "Top 100 Clubs" — and frequently ranked the №1 club in North America. Headliners from Tiësto and Calvin Harris to Eric Prydz and Charlotte de Witte have made it a regular tour stop, and its production values have set the standard for U.S. nightlife.
Programming runs the full electronic spectrum — from peak-time house and trance to bass, dubstep and hard techno — with an LED wall and rig that turn each show into a full audiovisual production. The crowd is energetic, dance-focused and dressed for the floor rather than for show.
